Executive reshuffles: MS, HSBC and TXT
Market watchers, throughout the week, observed several Wall Street executives stepping up for new roles as part of leadership reshuffling.
Meanwhile, some companies such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC and Textron added new positions to steer growth prospects.
Here are some of the recent management changes that took place during the week:
Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) said Ted Pick will become chairman, in addition to his current CEO role, on Jan. 1, 2025, succeeding James Gorman, who will retire from the company.
HSBC (NYSE:HSBC) appointed Pam Kaur as its first female CFO, replacing Georges Elhedery, who was promoted to CEO earlier.
Textron (NYSE:TXT) said Frank Connor, executive vice president and CFO, has notified the company that he intends to retire on Feb. 28, 2025. David Rosenberg, Textron’s vice president, Investor Relations, has been elected to succeed Connor as executive vice president and CFO.
Pacira BioSciences (PCRX) has announced the appointment of Shawn Cross as CFO.
Rexford Industrial Realty (REXR) has announced the appointment of Michael Fitzmaurice as CFO and the promotion of Laura Clark, the Co.’s current CFO, to the role of COO, effective Nov. 18, 2024.
New Fortress Energy (NFE) said that its board of directors has agreed to appoint Managing Director Andrew Dete to the role of president.
Phunware (PHUN) said its CEO Michael Snavely has retired and resigned from the Co. The firm said it has appointed Stephen Chen, former chair, to the role of interim CEO.
