Executive reshuffles: NIO, Pfizer and Spirit Airlines in focus
Market watchers, throughout the week, observed several Wall Street executives stepping up for new roles as part of leadership reshuffling.
Meanwhile, some companies such as Pfizer, NIO added new positions to steer growth prospects.
Here are some of the recent management changes that took place during the week:
Lighmatter, an artificial intelligence chip startup focused on photonic supercomputing, has hired long-time Nvidia (NVDA) executive Simona Jankowski as its CFO.
EV-maker NIO (NYSE:NIO) said that Mr. Steven Wei Feng has tendered his resignation as the CFO for personal and family reasons. The board of directors approved to concurrently promote the company’s senior VP of Finance, Mr. Stanley Yu Qu, as the new CFO.
Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) has elected former State Street Global Advisers President and CEO Cyrus Taraporevala to its board, he was also named to the audit committee and compensation committee.
Forward Air (FWRD) has announced that Jamie Pierson would be permanent CFO.
Stantec (STN) said that Vito Culmone will join the company in mid-July 2024 as its next executive vice president and CFO.
Smith-Midland (SMID) has announced the resignation of its CFO Stephanie Poe and the company said that it would begin a search for a new CFO.
Atossa Therapeutics (ATOS) has announced the appointment of Heather Rees as the company’s new CFO.
Mannatech (MTEX) announced that it has appointed James Clavijo as CFO.
Spirit Airlines (NYSE:SAVE) on Monday said it appointed Fred Cromer as CFO and executive vice president.
Fossil Group (FOSL) has engaged Ankura Consulting Group, to provide interim-CFO services and has appointed Andrew Skobe as the Co.’s Interim CFO, effective immediately.
Versus Systems (VS) has appointed Curtis Wolfe as the new interim CEO of the company.
Ryan Specialty (RYAN) said founder, chair and CEO, Patrick Ryan will transition to the role of executive chairman.
