Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, was rocked by at least seven explosions around 2 a.m. local time Saturday, and sounds of low-flying aircraft were also heard, the Associated Press reported.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosions. Venezuela’s government, the Pentagon, and the White House were not immediately available for AP’s requests for comments.
