- Ford (NYSE:F) is recalling 694,271 vehicles in the U.S. over a fuel leak issue that could increase the risk of a fire.
- The recall covers certain 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2020-2022 Escape vehicles equipped with 1.5L engines. A fuel injector may crack, resulting in fuel or vapor migrating to and accumulating near ignition sources, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
- The remedy is currently under development. As an interim repair, dealers will update the engine control software.
