Frontier Communications (NASDAQ:FYBR) edged lower by 0.9% after the California Public Utilities Commission delayed a decision on its sale to Verizon (NYSE:VZ) until Q1.
The Commission is now scheduled to make a decision in Q126, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
The Federal Communications Commission approved Verizon’s (NYSE:VZ) $9.6 billion purchase of Frontier (NASDAQ:FYBR) in May after the telecom firm agreed to end its diversity, equity and inclusion policies.
