- Sports-focused streaming service FuboTV (NYSE:FUBO) on Tuesday said Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) networks have left Fubo as of April 30.
- Fubo said it has attempted to renew its content agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery and offered Warner Bros. Discovery market rates for its content.
- “Despite Fubo’s efforts to negotiate in good faith, Warner Bros. Discovery did not provide any counteroffer, and insisted on continuing to offer us above-market rates for its content.
- Fubo views Warner Bros. Discovery’s refusal to engage in good faith negotiations as another example of its abuse of massive market power that ultimately limits consumer choice,” the company said.
- FUBO -3.52% after hours to $1.37.
- Earlier in February, Fubo filed an antitrust suit against Disney, Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery and affiliates, partners in a joint venture bundling the companies’ efforts in streaming live sports.
