GameStop’s trading volume is the lowest since May
GameStop Corp.’s (NYSE:GME) trading volume fell to the lowest level since early May.
The meme stock’s trading volume reached its lowest level in almost eight weeks on Wednesday at 17.43M. The lowest was May 2 with volume at 8.65M.
GameStop’s (GME) trading volume was below the stock’s 65-day average of 47.57M. Its shares ended yesterday down 2.9%, are now at $24.28, and were down three of the past four days.
GameStop (GME) rose in May after financial analyst and investor Keith Gill (known in Reddit as r/wallstreetbets) returned to social media, and later in June he showed to hold a large stake in the stock.
The stock, however, continues to be up 39.42% year-to-date, is up 15.39% from a month ago, and has advanced around 1.60% since yesterday.
