- General Motors (GM) is investing an additional CAD63M ($46M) at its Oshawa assembly facility in Ontario, Canada, to build its next-generation, gas-powered pickups and expand its service parts business.
- Coupled with a CAD280M investment in the facility in June 2023, GM (GM) has invested a total of CAD1.5B in its ICE ambitions.
- The plant currently makes the Chevy Silverado light- and heavy-duty full-size pickups and supports aftermarket parts.
