Google (GOOG) (GOOGL) said on Thursday that it was bringing its advanced Gemini 3 Deep Think model to Google AI subscribers in the Gemini app, allowing users to test its advanced reasoning capabilities.
“This new mode delivers a meaningful improvement in reasoning capabilities, designed to tackle complex math, science and logic problems that challenge even the most advanced state-of-the-art models,” Google wrote in a blog post. “Gemini 3 Deep Think excels on rigorous benchmarks like Humanity’s Last Exam and ARC-AGI-2. This is because it uses advanced parallel reasoning to explore multiple hypotheses simultaneously — building on Gemini 2.5 Deep Think variants that recently achieved a gold-medal standard at the International Mathematical Olympiad and at the International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals.”
Google has received wide praise after it released its Gemini 3 model last month. Some analysts have even suggested it derisked the company from the possibility of losing search market share to generative AI competitors.
Shares of the tech giant fell fractionally in midday trading on Thursday.
