Users experienced issues with Google (GOOG) (GOOGL), according to data from Downdetector. The outage reports began around 11 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.
Users reported this error message: “Server Error. We’re sorry but it appears that there has been an internal server error while processing your request. Our engineers have been notified and are working to resolve the issue. Please try again later.”
Outage monitoring site Downdetector reported that nearly 7,000 users experienced issues at the height of the disruption. About 45% of reports involved Google Search, 38% involved problems with content loading, and 12% said they could not access the site at all.
