
JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) credit card delinquencies in its credit card trust edged down, while its net charge-off increased in May, the company disclosed in a filing on Monday.
Chase Issuance Trust’s delinquency rate of 0.85% declined from 0.89% in April and was only 3 basis points higher than 0.82% in May 2024. Compared with before the pandemic, the rate remains below 1.40% in May 2019.
The trust’s net charge-off rate of 1.84% jumped from 1.67% in April, but was little changed from 1.85% in March. A year ago, the metric was 1.53%. Six years ago, it stood at 2.46%.
The trust’s level of lending was unchanged at $12.4B, compared with the prior month, according to its SEC filing.
