JPMorgan Chase’s (NYSE:JPM) credit card trust saw its delinquency rate edge up in September as its net charge-off rate declined. Both still remain below their prepandemic levels.
Chase Issuance Trust’s September delinquency rate of 0.87% rose from 0.84%. That’s below its year-ago level of 0.95% and the 1.17% rate in September 2019.
Its net charge-off rate of 1.57% dropped from 1.64% in August and 1.60% in September 2023. That compared with 2.32% five years ago.
Lending activity slipped about 0.8% M/M to $12.6B.
