JPMorgan Chase credit card delinquency rate ticks up, charge-off rate falls in July

JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) credit card trusts’ delinquency rate ticked up, while its net charge-off rate declined by 9 basis points in July, according to a filing on Thursday.
The Chase Issuance Trust delinquency rate of 0.83% edged up from 0.82% in June and remained below 0.89% a year ago and 1.15% in July 2019.
The trust’s net charge-off rate fell to 1.51% from 1.60% in June, 1.55% in July 2023 and 2.21% five years ago.
Its $12.80B of principal receivables, at the end of July, fell 0.9% from $12.92B at the end of June, according to the filing.
