JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon believes that the market is under-pricing the potential for U.S. interest rates to climb, according to media reports on Thursday.

Speaking at an Ireland foreign ministry event, the bank chief called that misreading by the markets as a “cause for concern.”

“I think the possibility of those higher rates (is) higher than anybody else… The market is pricing a 20% chance. I would price in a 40%-50% chance,” Dimon said, according to reporting by Reuters.

He also noted that he sees “complacency in the markets” after U.S. President Donald Trump made about two dozen tariff announcements this week.
