JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon to travel to Africa in growth mission – report
JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon is planning to visit Africa for the first time in seven years in mid-October as the U.S.’s biggest lender seeks to expand on the continent, according to a Tuesday media report.
During his trip next month, Dimon is anticipated to travel to Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Ivory Coast, Reuters reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
JPMorgan (JPM) already has office locations in South Africa and Nigeria offering asset and wealth management services, the article said, as well as commercial and investment banking services.
