Key deals this week: DigitalBridge, BHP, Goldman Sachs and more

Here’s a list of key deals reported across sectors this week:

DigitalBridge (DBRG) soared 33% on a report that Softbank (OTCPK:SFTBY) is in talks to acquire the firm.

ITT (ITT) has entered into a definitive agreement with Lone Star Funds to acquire SPX FLOW for a total consideration of $4.775 billion in cash and equity.

ASSA ABLOY (OTCPK:ASAZY) has acquired Sargent and Greenleaf, a U.S. based manufacturer specializing in high-security mechanical and electronic locking solutions, including safe hardware.

Baldwin Insurance Group (BWIN) has agreed to merge with CAC Group, a specialty and middle-market insurance brokerage firm, in a deal that is expected to create one of the U.S.’s largest independent insurance advisory and distribution platforms, it said on Tuesday.

Goldman Sachs (GS) announced on Monday an agreement to acquire exchange-traded fund sponsor Innovator Capital Management for ~$2B.

Targa Resources (TRGP) said Monday it agreed to acquire Stakeholder Midstream, which provides natural gas gathering, treating, and processing services and crude gathering and storage services in the Permian Basin, for $1.25 billion in cash.

BHP (BHP) offered ~£40 billion ($53 billion) in its attempt last month to acquire Anglo American (OTCQX:AAUKF) (OTCQX:NGLOY), bidding ~£34/share mostly in stock but also including a cash component, Bloomberg reported Monday.

Australian gold producer Perseus Mining (OTCPK:PMNXF) said late Tuesday that it made a binding offer to acquire Predictive Discovery (OTCPK:PDIYF) valued at more than A$2.0 billion, equivalent to US$1.31 billion.
