KKR, Walmart to sell Japanese retail chain Seiyu for $2.5B

KKR (NYSE:KKR) announced that it will sell Japanese supermarket chain Seiyu to retailer Trial Holdings for JPY 380B ($2.54B). As part of the deal, Walmart (NYSE:WMT) will sell its 15% stake in Seiyu to Trial.
