- Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) said on Tuesday that its Azure unit is the first cloud to run Nvidia’s (NASDAQ:NVDA) Blackwell system, via the GB200 AI servers.
- “We’re optimizing at every layer to power the world’s most advanced AI models, leveraging Infiniband networking and innovative closed loop liquid cooling,” Microsoft said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
- Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang said last week that demand for the company’s line of Blackwell GPUs is “insane.”
- Microsoft shares rose 1% in early trading, while Nvidia was up 2%.
