Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) Investment Management (MSIM), through investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), its private infrastructure investment platform, has agreed to offload its ownership stake in Seven Seas Water Group to the EQT Infrastructure VI fund, it said on Thursday
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Seven Seas Water operates over 220 water and wastewater treatment plants, which sign long-term, inflation-linked contracts with take-or-pay minimum volume commitments. In essence, the company ensures availability for potable and clean water.
Under MSIP’s ownership, Seven Seas Water has significantly expanded its footprint in the U.S., having recently secured several high-profile long-term contracts.
“The Company’s Water-as-a-Service model has proven highly effective across diverse markets, and we are proud to have supported their evolution into a market-leading platform,” said Alberto Donzelli, managing director and co-head of Europe for MSIM.
