Nebius brings AI cloud powered by Nvidia online in UK

Nebius (NBIS) has deployed its first artificial intelligence cloud in the U.K., powered by Nvidia’s (NVDA) Blackwell Ultra GPUs and its Quantum-X800 Infiniband networking system, the company announced today.

It is the latest global buildout of Nebius’ full-stack cloud infrastructure for AI, following similar deployments in Europe, Israel and the U.S. It also supports the U.K. government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan, which was drafted to encourage AI development at scale for researchers, government agencies and enterprises. The new facility is located in London.

Nebius shares increased 3% during pre-market trading on Thursday. Nvidia had inched up 1%.

“This launch is a milestone for Nebius and for the UK’s growing AI ecosystem,” said Nebius founder and CEO Arkady Volozh. “By combining our cloud infrastructure foundations with NVIDIA’s latest technology, we’re empowering organizations across the UK to train, deploy, and scale AI models and applications faster, more securely, and more sustainably than ever.”

The new deployment follows the launch of the Nebius Token Factory, which is built to enable AI inference on open-source and custom models.
