A new Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) MacBook Air with the tech giant’s artificial intelligence-focused M4 chip will come in early 2025, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Apple and its manufacturing partners will soon start producing 13-inch and 15-inch models of the new laptops, the news outlet added, citing sources. It will have a similar look to the current MacBook Air, with the M4 chip being the big update.
The company is also working on a new low-cost version of the iPad, which could be released early next year, Bloomberg added.
Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple is also set to unveil several new Mac computers next week, all with the M4 chip, as the company boosts its AI-related offerings. These include new versions of the iMac and MacBook Pro models, as well as a refreshed version of the Mac mini.
