Nikola’s hydrogen fuel cell truck deliveries leap in Q2, beats expectations

- Nikola (NASDAQ:NKLA) said through the HYLA brand, the firm has delivered 72 Class 8 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell trucks to wholesalers in Q2, crossing the high end of truck sales guidance of 60 units.
- “We have maintained our 2024 momentum with solid wholesale numbers, new customers such as Walmart Canada, and repeat customers like 4GEN and IMC, purchasing vehicles through our dealer network,” CEO Steve Girsky said.
- For the first half of the year, the company wholesaled 112 hydrogen fuel cell trucks.
- Shares in the company were up 4.4% in premarket trade.
