Nvidia (NVDA) said on Thursday that its RTX PRO 5000 72GB Blackwell GPU is now “generally available.”
“With the flexibility to choose between this 72GB variant and the existing NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000 48GB model, AI developers can right-size their systems for a wider range of budgets and project requirements,” Nvidia said on its website.
The 72GB variant offers a 50% increase in memory, which allows developers to “train, fine-tune and prototype larger models locally,” Nvidia added.
Nvidia shares rose more than 2% in late morning trading on Nvidia.
