OpenAI crosses 400M users for ChatGPT amid DeepSeek challenge

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT)-backed OpenAI had 400 million weekly active users for ChatGPT as of February.
It is a 33% increase from the 300 million weekly active users as of Dec. 4, 2024, an OpenAI spokesperson said in an emailed statement to Seeking Alpha.
