OpenAI, the generative artificial intelligence startup backed by Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), said it hit 1M paid users of its ChatGPT for business, according to Bloomberg.
The 1M figure includes people who have signed up to use its ChatGPT Team, Enterprise and Edu services. ChatGPT Enterprise was introduced last August as the Sam Altman-led company looks to boost revenue from larger companies. ChatGPT Team, designed for smaller businesses, was introduced in January.
Separately on Thursday, The Information reported that OpenAI has discussed higher-priced subscriptions — perhaps as much as $2,000 per month — for its upcoming large language models, including Strawberry and a new model, known as Orion.
