OpenAI launches organizational tool Projects with ChatGPT
OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Projects, an organizational tool that allows users to group custom data, conversations, custom GPTs, coding and chats that can easily be shared with others.
“We’re launching something you’ve all been asking for a while: Projects in ChatGPT,” said Kevin Weil, OpenAI’s chief product officer, during a Friday livestream. “All the parts of ChatGPT you are used to are now part of Projects. Or you can use Projects without the functions of ChatGPT.”
The Projects launch was part of the Microsoft-backed (NASDAQ:MSFT) startup’s 12 Days of OpenAI holiday event.
It’s also included the launch of Sora, an artificial intelligence-powered video generator that can create videos with as little as a few words of text; ChatGPT Canvas; Advanced Voice with video and screen sharing; and the integration of ChatGPT into Apple’s (AAPL) latest operating system update.
Weil noted that Sora has finally rolled out to all eligible subscribers.
“Demand for Sora has been off the charts, but now it is fully available for all our Plus and Pro users, outside of our friends in Europe,” he added.
