- Palantir Technologies (NYSE:PLTR) has been awarded a $99.8 million five-year contract by DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory to extend Maven Smart System access to the Army, Air Force, Space Force, Navy, and US Marine Corps.
- The firm-fixed-price contract aims to streamline services’ access to Maven AI infrastructure capabilities.
- Maven Smart System is part of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Maven AI infrastructure.
- Under the contract, the Palantir platform to support AI battlespace awareness, global integration, force management, logistics, joint fires, and targeting workflows.
- “This contract vehicle will allow every military department to tap into the innovation that the Office of Secretary of Defense and NGA have created through Maven to accelerate their own CJADC2 programs,” said Akash Jain, President of Palantir USG.
- Palantir’s share falls 2.53% in premarket trading.
