Selfbook, a commerce platform for hotels, chose PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ:PYPL) as a commerce partner for payments, the companies said on Monday.
Consumers who check out with PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL) and Venmo will get access to exclusive rates. Also, Selfbook’s hotel customers will be featured on the Offers tab in the PayPal app.
In addition, PayPal’s (PYPL) Buy Now, Pay Later option will be offered for many hotel brands that integrate with Selfbook.
The partnership will advance travel booking into the age of agentic AI by using conversational AI to help customers book and pay, the companies said. Selfbook and PayPal (PYPL) are both partners with Perplexity, allowing consumers to search, book and pay for hotels within the chat.
PayPal (PYPL) stock rose 0.4% in Monday morning trading.
