- PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL) has expanded its partnership with Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) in the U.S. by integrating PayPal wallet transactions with Shopify Payments through PayPal Complete Payments.
- This enhancement will create a single, unified payment platform for Shopify (SHOP) merchants, resulting in more operational efficiency.
- “This showcases PayPal’s growing role as a leading platform of choice for the world’s largest commerce brands, technology companies, and payment processors,” PayPal CEO Alex Chriss said.
- PayPal (PYPL) shares are up more than 1% in Monday’s premarket trading, while Shopify (SHOP) shares are up fractionally.
