Global index provider, FTSE Russell recently posted its preliminary lists of companies set to enter or leave the US broad market Russell 3000 Index, marking the start of its 37th annual Russell US Indexes Reconstitution, before moving to a semi-annual reconstitution schedule beginning in 2026.
These are the technology companies slated to join the index: Quantum Computing (NASDAQ:QUBT), Reddit (NYSE:RDDT), Samsara (NYSE:IOT), Flex (NASDAQ:FLEX), Kopin Corp (NASDAQ:KOPN), Serve Robotics (NASDAQ:SERV), Kulr Technology Group (NYSE:KULR), Rumble Inc (NASDAQ:RUM), Atomera Limited (NASDAQ:ATOM), Synchronoss Technology (NASDAQ:SNCR), Corecard Corp (NYSE:CCRD), Neonode (NASDAQ:NEON), Bitdeer Technologies (NASDAQ:BTDR), among others.
The technology companies leaving the index include: Quicklogic Corp (NASDAQ:QUIK), Everspin Technologies (NASDAQ:MRAM), Rekor Systems (NASDAQ:REKR), Fiscal Note Holdings (NYSE:NOTE), Dlh Holdings (NASDAQ:DLHC), Smartrent (NYSE:SMRT), among others.
This year’s reconstitution changes will take place after US equity markets close on Friday, June 27.
With approximately $10.6 trillion in investor assets benchmarked to or invested in products based on the Russell US Indexes, the Russell Reconstitution concludes with traditionally one of the highest trading volume days of the year on major US equity exchanges, reaching a record of nearly $220 billion traded across US exchanges at the close of 2024 reconstitution.
