Rigetti Computing (NASDAQ:RGTI) has received $5.7M in purchase orders for two of its 9-qubit Novera quantum computing systems.
The systems are upgradeable for future scaling and are scheduled for delivery in H1 2026.
One system will go to an Asian tech manufacturer for internal quantum R&D and benchmarking. The other is being purchased by a California-based applied physics and AI startup for research on quantum hardware and error correction.
Each Novera system includes a 9-qubit Ankaa-class processor, dilution refrigerator, and Rigetti’s proprietary control systems.
The systems are manufactured in Rigetti’s Fab-1, the industry’s first dedicated quantum device fabrication facility.
