SA Charts: Here are the biggest corporate spenders on buybacks in Q4

S&P 500 companies posted a sequential uptick in buybacks during the fourth quarter to $243.2B from $226.6B in the previous one, according to S&P data.

Meanwhile, 2024 expenditure on stock repurchases grew to a record $942.5B, up 18.5% from 2023’s $795.2B.
