Salesforce collabs with Google, Nvidia to advance AI agents
Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) revealed new collaborations with Google Cloud (NASDAQ:GOOG)(NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) to advance the capabilities of its Agentforce artificial intelligence agents.
Salesforce announced these collaborations during its Dreamforce 2024 event, which kicked off today in San Francisco.
The extended partnership with Google allows customers to deploy AI agents that can operate across both Salesforce Customer 360 and Google Workspace apps. Salesforce’s Agentforce allows customers to build the agents that can move securely between these platforms.
Examples include Sales Development Representative agents “engaging with prospects 24/7, answering questions, managing objections and scheduling meetings” based on Salesforce data. These same agents can also access Google Workspace to pull data from Gmail and Docs back into Salesforce to update records and trigger workflows.
“We’re creating the world’s first agent ecosystem together with partners like Google Cloud,” said Salesforce’s Brian Landsman, executive vice president of global technology partners. “Humans work across many systems to get work done, and to be effective, agents need to as well. Together, Salesforce and Google Cloud are delivering a fully AI-infused productivity suite.”
Salesforce will also work with the Nvidia AI platform, which includes accelerated computing and AI software, to optimize predictive and generative AI workflows.
Salesforce expects billions of its Agentforce agents to be deployed by customers over the next few years.
“In the future, every company, every job will be enhanced by a wide range of AI agents – assistants that will transform how we work,” said Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang. “Nvidia and Salesforce are bringing together our technologies to accelerate the development of AI agents for companies to supercharge their productivity.”
