Salesforce completes acquisition of Informatica

Salesforce (CRM) on Tuesday said it has completed its acquisition of AI-powered cloud data management Informatica.

Salesforce, in May, announced a deal to pay $25 per share in cash for Informatica. The company said it expects the Informatica acquisition to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share, adjusted operating margin and free cash flow in the second year after the deal has closed.

“The close of the acquisition brings Informatica’s rich data catalog, integration, governance, quality and privacy, metadata management, and Master Data Management (MDM) services to the Salesforce platform, establishing a unified and comprehensive data foundation for agentic AI — and enabling AI agents to operate safely, responsibly, and at scale across the modern enterprise,” Salesforce said.

Shares of Salesforce was trading 0.5% lower on Tuesday.
