Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) has partnered with Anthropic (ANTHRO) to utilize Claude models to provide artificial intelligence tools for regulated and data-sensitive industries, the two companies announced today.
Claude, which is a foundational model for Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform, can be used as a preferred model for financial services, healthcare, cybersecurity, and life sciences. It is expected to improve the efficiency of customer service and workflows. Salesforce has also integrated Claude into Slack which provides conversational AI to enterprise operations.
“By bringing Salesforce directly into Claude — and Claude’s intelligence into Salesforce and Slack — we’re giving every company the power to work in entirely new ways,” said Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. “Together, we’re making trusted, agentic AI real for every industry — combining Anthropic’s world-class models with the trust, reliability, accuracy and scale of Agentforce 360, helping customers achieve new levels of productivity, innovation, and growth.”
“Regulated industries need frontier AI capabilities, but they also need the appropriate safeguards before they can deploy in sensitive systems,” added Anthropic CEO and co-founded Dario Amodei. “We’ve built Claude to deliver both: the performance and the safeguards.”
Salesforce also announced a new collaboration with OpenAI (OPENAI) as well on Tuesday.
