Schlumberger to delist stock from Euronext Paris

Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB) will proceed with a voluntary delisting of its shares from Euronext Paris due to lower trading volume.

Other reasons include increasing costs, administrative requirements and managerial time required to maintain a dual listing.

SLB became a public company in 1962 with its original listing on the NYSE, which has been its primary exchange. SLB will maintain its single listing on NYSE under the symbol “SLB”.

Holders of SLB (SLB) Euronext shares will be able to trade on Euronext Paris until August 16, 2024 (the last trading date before the delisting).

Shares of Schlumberger (SLB) traded marginally lower, down 0.10% to $47.98 on Wednesday during after hours of trade.
