SentinelOne (NYSE:S) led several cybersecurity stocks higher on Monday following reports of “active attacks” on Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) SharePoint server software, which is used widely by government agencies and businesses to share documents internally.
SentintelOne shares surged 8% by noon trading. SentinelOne offers a comprehensive security offering known as the Singularity Platform. The company offers endpoint security, cloud security, identity security and event management. Its primary competitors include CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD), Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ:PANW) and Microsoft.
CrowdStrike had inched up 1% while Palo Alto Networks climbed 2.7%. Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ:CHKP) had increased 2%. Fortinent (NASDAQ:FTNT) was up 1.7%.
