‘Snow White’ takes top spot at weekend box office with $43M

Walt Disney???s (NYSE:DIS) live-action remake of ???Snow White??? took the top spot at the weekend North American box office with $43 million in ticket sales.

The movie, with a budget of more than $250M, was beset by controversies, ranging from its computer-generated dwarves to
