SolarEdge Technologies CEO Lando steps down; Faier named interim CEO
SolarEdge Technologies (NASDAQ:SEDG) +3.5% pre-market Monday after announcing that Zvi Lando has stepped down as its CEO, and has named previous CFO Ronen Faier as interim CEO; no explanation was given for Lando’s departure.
The board also appointed Ariel Porat, former Senior VP of Finance Ariel Porat to serve as CFO, effective immediately.
Lando joined SolarEdge (SEDG) in 2009 as Executive VP of Global Sales and became CEO in 2019 following the death of Guy Sella; he will remain on the company’s board.
Faier joined SolarEdge (SEDG) in 2011 as its CFO and was general manager of the SolarEdge Storage Division during 2019-23; previously, he was CFO at modu Ltd. and at Msystems prior to its acquisition by SanDisk Corp. in 2006.
Porat was CEO of Siemens Israel during 2020-21 before joining SolarEdge (SEDG).
