SolarEdge Technologies taps marketing chief Nir as new CEO

SolarEdge Technologies (NASDAQ:SEDG) said Thursday it appointed Chief Marketing Officer Shuki Nir as its new CEO effective immediately, succeeding Ronen Faier, who has served as interim CEO since August.
Nir has served as SolarEdge’s (SEDG) CMO since June; previously he held several key roles including General Manager of the consumer business unit at SanDisk and also led SanDisk’s corporate marketing.
Faier, who became CEO when Zvi Lando stepped down, joined the company in 2011 as its CFO and was general manager of the SolarEdge Storage Division during 2019-23.
