Sterling announces a $155M aviation award, $78M in Nevada highway project award

Sterling Infrastructure (NASDAQ:STRL) has announced that its Road and Highway Builders subsidiary, has been awarded a $155M contract for runway extension at the Lihue Airport located in Kauai, Hawaii.
The award will be included in first quarter 2024 backlog.
It also announced that its Road and Highway Builders subsidiary, has been awarded two highway projects totaling $78M by the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The awards are included in fourth quarter 2023 backlog.
“RHB’s longstanding relationship with NDOT positions us well to participate in the proactive, multi-year infrastructure upgrade programs in the state.” said Joe Cutillo, Sterling’s CEO.
