- Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) has signed a deal to build China’s largest grid-scale energy storage plant.
“The grid-side energy storage power station is a ‘smart regulator’ for urban electricity, which can flexibly adjust grid resources, effectively solve the pressure of urban power supply and ensure the safe, stable and efficient electricity demand of the city. After completion, this project is expected to become the largest grid-side energy storage project in China,” Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) said in a translated post on Weibo.
- Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) has received a Markets in Crypto Assets, or MiCA, license from Luxembourg regulators that will allow it to offer its full suite of crypto products to all 27 members of the European Union.
“Over the past few years, Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) has worked closely with regulators across Europe, securing licenses in Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands and Spain. Now, with MiCA, we’re uniting these efforts under a single framework, enabling millions of Europeans to access regulated, trusted, and secure crypto services,” Coinbase (COIN) said in a blog post.
- Meta (NASDAQ:META) and EssilorLuxottica (OTCPK:ESLOY) (OTCPK:ESLOF) have launched a line of Oakley-branded AI glasses for athletes and sports fans.
“Oakley Meta glasses are a new product line that will combine Oakley’s signature design DNA with Meta’s industry-leading technology to give you deeper insights into your physical capabilities and help you share your biggest wins – on and off the field,” Meta (NASDAQ:META) said in a blog post.
“Glasses have emerged as a major new hardware category of the AI era,” Meta (META) added.
Prices for the glasses, called HSTN, will start at $399. The companies already market smart glasses under the Ray-Ban brand.
