Tesla starts leasing Cybertrucks from $999 a month
Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is now offering customers an option to lease Cybertruck, at prices starting $999 a month.
U.S. customers paying $7,500 down toward leasing an all-wheel drive version of the electric pickup for three years can avail the monthly payment option, as per Tesla’s website.
The pickup truck can also be leased for two years for no down payment and up to around $1,600 per month.
Tesla introduced the leasing option for the Cybertruck after clearing out much of its backlog of orders. The company claims the Cybertruck is its third-highest selling model, though it does not disclose the exact volumes delivered each quarter.
The model was first introduced in 2019 and has since been plagued with production delays that cleared up last year. The Cybertruck was last recalled in October for rearview camera issues.
