Trump to host Wall Street CEOs on Wednesday at White House – report

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to host a private dinner at the White House on Wednesday, November 12, with several top Wall Street executives, including the CEOs of Nasdaq (NDAQ) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM), according to a Bloomberg report that cites officials familiar with the plan.

The dinner aims to strengthen ties with corporate leaders amid new initiatives to bolster U.S. capital markets and rebuild critical domestic supply chains, seen as vital to national security. The White House listed a private dinner hosted by Trump at 7:30pm local time on the president’s daily public schedule.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon and Nasdaq’s (NDAQ) Adena Friedman are among the CEOs invited, one of the officials said. Besides, BlackRock (BLK) Larry Fink and Morgan Stanley’s (MS) Ted Pick were also invited.

Recently, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) unveiled its Security and Resiliency Initiative, a $1.5 trillion, 10-year plan to invest in industries critical to national economic security and resiliency.

Previously, in September, Trump held a dinner with tech heads, including Meta’s (META) Mark Zuckerberg and Apple’s (AAPL) Tim Cook, that saw Silicon Valley leaders pledging investments in the U.S., especially in AI.
