Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) rivals Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE:TSM) and Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) are considering deals that could split the troubled U.S. chipmaker into two, the Wall Street Journal reported Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.
