UBS said that its recent Enterprise AI survey results continue to point to Microsoft (MSFT), OpenAI (OPENAI), and Nvidia (NVDA) as key AI winners, with Google (GOOGL) showing strong progress at the model layer with Gemini.
The financial firm said in its note that enterprise tech adoption is ramping slowly, far more slowly than consumer adoption. The deployment of autonomous AI agents has attracted material attention, but adoption remains at a very early stage.
On a more positive note, UBS noted that in its survey results, there was no material evidence of AI-driven headcount cuts.
At the AI processor and infrastructure layers, Nvidia and Microsoft Azure remain dominant among enterprises, while in terms of general-purpose AI tools, Microsoft M365 Copilot remains dominant.
However, UBS pointed out that there is rapid progress being made by OpenAI ChatGPT for Business.
For AI coding, Microsoft GitHub Copilot maintained its material share lead, although Anthropic Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Cursor showed strong progress.
