Verizon says it has contained impact from the Salt Typhoon cyber attack

Verizon (NYSE:VZ) provided an update on the Salt Typhoon cyber attack, saying it contained the incident brought on by the threat actor.

The company said Friday, “an independent and highly respected” cybersecurity firm has confirmed the containment by the telecom.
