Visa Direct to speed funds availability for U.S. cardholders

Visa’s (NYSE:V) direct payment service will make funds available to U.S. cardholders’ bank accounts within a minute or less starting in April 2025, the company said Thursday.

Consumers, businesses, and governments can use Visa Direct to deposit funds to bank accounts linked to eligible debit cards in real time.

The faster funds availability can enhance organizations’ operational efficiency, deliver better customer experiences, and foster trust among their clients, Visa (NYSE:V) said.

Visa (V) stock edged up 0.1% in Thursday premarket trading.
