- Walmart (NYSE:WMT)-backed Indian fintech firm PhonePe is preparing to file preliminary documents for its initial public offering to raise as much as $1.5 billion, Bloomberg reported on Monday.
- The deal would value the fintech company at about $15 billion, and PhonePe is planning to submit a draft red herring prospectus for the listing by as early as August, the report said.
- PhonePe, the digital payments platform, redomiciled from Singapore to India in December 2022.
