Walmart’s (NYSE:WMT) Mexico and Central American business on Friday said its top boss Ignacio Caride had submitted his resignation and had been replaced by Walmart Chile CEO Cristian Barrientos Pozo on an interim basis.

Walmex in July reported second quarter same-store sales growth of 4.4% in Mexico and 4% in Central America, though overall net income dropped 10.3% Y/Y to 11.23B pesos ($595.5M).
